YouTube and Google CEOs Accidentally Agree with James Damore - the Person They Fired For Saying the Same Thing
I know it's Breitbart, but it's Thursday afternoon and nobody else seems to have picked up on this story. Also, their account of what happened is factual and objective.
It's interesting, but not surprising that Susan Wojcicki - and by extension Google/YouTube - have tripped themselves up here. Because this is what happens when you toy with identity politics and fire someone because you think it'll make you look good, rather than because you have concrete reasons.
When I say nobody else picked up on this, of course James Damore himself did.

Bitcoin's Broken Promise
'...what today’s bitcoin mining has in common with banks is that there are a small number of powerful institutions that have invested the fortunes required for the vast infrastructure needed to make financial systems work. They are the financial lubricant that allows people to exchange value and make trades. Both miners and bankers have conferences, and you can fit the key decision makers of both kinds of institutions, if you wanted to, under one roof.'
